Hugh Tennent는 건축설계사무소 Tennent Brown Architects의 디렉터로, 뉴질랜드를 대표하는 건축가 중 한 명이다. 사회적 불균형에 처해있는 마오리 토착민을 위한 시설, 교육 및 종교 공간 등 환경과 사회의 맥락에 반응하는 건축으로 알려져 있다. 현재 울산 현대 중공업 조선소 선박 인테리어 프로젝트를 진행하고 있다.
