The Sustainable Building System Lab focuses on the research and development of architectural (passive) and environmental (active) approaches that can create a more pleasant, safe, and efficient built environment. Its research projects tabs on indoor air and thermal environment, ventilation systems, building energy, and urban environment, all of which contribute to create a pleasant and healthy architectural environment and affect our cities, buildings, and the microclimate and human body.
Interpretation of air regulations for IAQ evaluation and analysis of
particle removal efficiency
Development of pollutant dispersion models in indoor
and human respiratory zones
Analysis of indoor and outdoor thermal and air environments
for eco-friendly building design
Development of HVAC systems for building energy conservation
Analysis of aerosol and virus dispersion in human surroundings indoors
Analysis of indoor CO2 concentration distribution according
to operation of outdoor air supply HVAC systems
